I had a decent stay at Alfonso Hotel, which is a budget-friendly option in the area. The room was spacious and clean, but it lacked some amenities like toiletries and decent towels. The breakfast was quite simple, and I would have appreciated better options. However, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, which made my experience more pleasant.

The room was spacious and clean, but simply furnished. The twin beds were narrow, and we requested an extra bed which was just a mattress.

Alfonso Hotel is a bit removed from the center of Tagaytay, so having personal transportation is necessary to get around. It's in a quieter area, which I appreciated.

The breakfast was simple and included just bread and coffee, but I enjoyed the little Italian restaurant on-site. It was a nice surprise!

I found my stay at Alfonso Hotel to be a mix of positives and negatives. The spacious suite offered a great view of the clouds and stars, and the staff were courteous and attentive. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, and the amenities were very basic for a suite. I expected a bit more for the price, particularly in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

My stay at Alfonso Hotel was quite average, with its prime location near Sonia's Garden being a plus, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. While the checking-in process was smooth and quick, I found both the room and amenities to be rather basic. The highlight was certainly the Italian restaurant, which surprised me with its delicious offerings.

The hotel is conveniently located, especially if you have events nearby, like weddings at Chapel by the Hill. It’s a bit foggy at night though, which adds to the atmosphere but might not be for everyone.

Facilities were basic and in need of maintenance. I noticed some issues like a dirty bathroom and limited amenities. There were no complimentary items, so be prepared to pay for basics.

My stay at Alfonso Hotel was a mixed bag. The spacious room with large windows was a highlight, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. However, I found the cleanliness lacking upon arrival, which put a damper on things, and the breakfast service left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a decent spot, especially if you want to be away from the crowded areas of Tagaytay, but there are certainly areas that need improvement.
